Celeron 533 slotket in PD440FX mobo problem

I have a Toshiba Infinia 7260 PII 266. I flashed the BIOS to the latest BIOS for this mobo (from Intel). BIOS reports new version, correct mobo model and serial numbers. I installed the slotket but it won't boot. Some disk activity, no video, no beeps. Reinstalled PII. Reset CMOS. Booted O.K. Reinstalled slotket. Same problem. Have checked all jumpers and DIPS on mobo and slotket. Video is Voodoo3 3000 PCI. Suggestions?

Checked intel's site about your board....seems it only goes up to 333PII. Doesn't say anything about Celey's,only that they've not been test on the board.
