Yeah with the cover off it lasts a little longer...

I'm using a copper heatsink and artic silver III so yeah I think only a peltier or better could stand a chance...

BTW - I like your signature about your CD-R drive...
I'm using a 4x burner as well, scsi 4x4x16 Yamaha.
It still does the trick, 20mins for a full 700MB CD but hey I can do other stuff while it's burning. I don't need a CD in 2 1/2 mins, guess some people do...

well i just got the copper shield to go around the chip so when i put on my pelt it spreads the cold over a larger area and not just the direct center and hopefully that will provide better cooling of the cpu so now all i have to get is the copper spacer for the other side to help remove the heat from the pelt then i will be set to install here is a diagram of what i am talking about

well i have a celly 700 and it didnt oc to well i only got about 175mhz out. when i tried to raise it it wouldnt go any highter.

i think that the fsb is around 85mhz
