Right I have some descisions to make:
Celly 600 or 633?

Motherboard:
Abit BX133-RAID or
Abit VP6 or
Abit SA6R Raid or
Asus CUSL2 or
Aopen VIA 693x MATX or
Jetway Information SiS 620 AT AV?

Globalwin Fop-38 or Taisol CEK734?

This is for a second system. The onboard sound on the SA6, Aopen and Jetway are a bonus. The Jetways on board video means that i dont have to buy a video card. This wont be used for stressful apps. Is jetway overclocking friendly?
Need Help!!!

As far as the Intel processors go, I'd say go with the 600- since it's a lower multiplier, you have a bit more options in overclocking it. The first of two I've purchased ran at 927 right off the bat (but it was a system pull, and presumably fairly well burned in).

As for the overclockability of the Jetway boards, I'm currently running one now, and my Celeron II 600 is running quite happily at 103fsb. The newer boards should have even more options, as I only have three 'in between' fsb options on mine and no voltage controls. All told though, there is probably a better choice than it- I got mine dirt cheap, and got lucky in it working so well so far. But, I'll leave deciding the best of the others to those who actually have an use them. ;D

Since I just bought a new board, why not buy my Abit SE6 motherboard (with on-board video and sound, plus ATA100 controller and custom cooling mods) along with my old Celeron 566. I can guarantee a rock stable 952 MHz with this setup and can even include 256 meg of PC133 CAS 2 RAM and an Alpha cooler. I was able to benchmark 978 and could even post at 1020 (but it will lockup during Windows startup at that speed). Email me if interested.

Stay away from the jetway board..not enough overclocking options...Ashyukun got lucky
not sure about the Aopen board, but the asus, and Abit's are good choices...as for which, well it's a matter of individual taste. Tuff choice

Best combo.......
Duron 600
Epox 8ktA3
256MB Mushkin rev3
Hedgehog cooler

This is what my next project will be...i will be pushing 160-166fsb @ 1100+

I'm not going to argue with that ;D Unfortunately, not lucky enough... I -still- haven't gotten the whole sound-card/video-card conflict worked out. If all the Jetway boards have problems like this one, I wouldn't recommend them either. As I said, I got mine dirt cheap before I really started looking around at what would be best for overclocking...

I'd recommend the Asus CUSL2-C (without on-board video). Almost any vid card will have better video! :)

Thanx for all of the replies.
I dont really care about the vid performance..
I unfortunately live in Ireland, so me buyin your mobo + CPU, batboy, is kinda unfeasable. :(
I cant get epox anywhere.
I can get a Duron 700, Abit KT7, Taisol 742092, TNT-2 GC + 128mb for: £253.06
I can get a Celly 633, Abit BX-133 Raid, Taisol 734092, TNT-2 GC + 128mb for: £277.85
I can get a Celly 633, Jetway Mobo, Taisol 734092, 128mb for: £165.68
This is some serious money for me. I would not be huge into overclocking this chip... obviously it's a bonus!
