change my card and ????

since i had a lot of problem with my old diamond monster fusion when shutting down my computer (it was always telling me" danger frequency off limits 224hz/64k") i decided to change my card for a chaintech geforce2 mx400 64mb but now i have a new problem when i shut down my computer it shuts down normaly screen goes to sleep and then turns back on and stays blank and you can here all the fan running in the case it does that when i reboot or shutdown would any body have an idea on what it could be??

that same thing happened to me ive got an abit kr7a-raid and a gainward geforce 3 ti200 when i changed the card for an exact same one it wont put up any display the fans wuill just run. resetting the cmos migth work for you
