Hi.
I am looking for a prog that I used a while ago that allowed me to change settings in the bios from windows. I'm sorry I don't have the name or anything. The reason I need to do this is that I have an awful dell bios and I can't change anything at all. I know you will recommend I buy a new mobo etc. but I just can't afford it right now. Student fees and all. Your help much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.
This is something simelar but you can change things like cas latencey. Effectivly all the bios settings can bee changed.
Damn. I need linux.

I dont know of any program that does it in windows, but a
program called TweakPC will do what you want.

You have to put it in your autoexec.bat and modify the settings
before windows starts.

I can't remember where I downloaded it from.....

H. Oda is the writer of Soft FSB. He wrote another program that will allow you to change the latency. It is called:

WCPUL2

The zipped file that I found was named:

WL2DD160.exe

I don't remember where I found this file. You must search for it because H. Oda no longer has downloads from his site. He got mad for some reason and shut the downloads off.
