I just got back from Cabo and had the opportunity to see Sammy Hagar at Cabo Wabo and took some great pics. My question is how do I get one of these pics to be the background for my desktop. I took the pic that I want on a digital camera and it is saved in a file as a jpg. I thought I saw a thread about this a couple months ago but I can't find it now. Can anybody tell me how to do this, give me a link to the thread, or direct me to a site that will help? Thanks in advance to any help that is offered.

background pic

If its appropriately sized for your desktop resoultion or smaller:

Control panel, Display, Background, Browse button, locate the pic and hit ok. there are options to tile, center or stretch the pic. Choose whatever option will work best for its size.

If you need to resize the pic, go to www.cnet.com and download irfanview. It's easy to use and you can scale the pic down or up if needed.

Dang that was quick. Thank you very much. My desktop now is a pic of 2 waboritas side by side with a lil salt on the rim sitting on top of a couple pesos and my sunglasses. Thanks for the help. It worked perfectly.
