Ecs L7vmm2
Has anyone tried using an ECS L7VMM2? I’ve looked all over for reviews but can’t find anything. I want to build my sister a computer for Christmas. She will be using it for AIM, Photoshop, Gunbound, Office and basic games. This is my proposed set up:
ECS L7VMM2
1.33Ghz Athlon Thunderbird
40 Gig Maxtor
256 PC2100 Crucial DDR X 2
Generic 300 Watt
Burner, Floopy.
Comments would be appreciated

Hey Rich, You should take a look at the Shuttle MN31N board, GF4mx graphics which is way better than the Via onboard, Soundstorm audio, Firewire (for her digital camera), USB2, LAN. I built 2 of these rigs for my wife and son, they work great, fast and stable. Given memory prices you can buy PC2700 memory for about the same price as PC2100. Get the 2x 256mb Crucial but make it PC2700. Get a $27.00 Fortron 300watt PN series PSU @ NewEgg, it has a single silent 120mm fan and is very strong and stable - I run 2 of them and 1 of their 350watts. Good Luck! Welcome to the Forums!
