Hi all,

I have a half a dozen iMac G3s and a few older beige Power Macs that I need to get rid of. They do not work, some of the parts are still good, but for the most part they are bad. I need to get rid of them soon, but can't throw them in the trash.

Where can I locally dispose of them for cheap?

Thanks.

Most dump facilities around here have a recycling program in place for old computer components. It's usually free, 'cause it's recycling. You could call around to your local waste disposal facilities and see if they'll take them.

I think they do the large community recyclings here twice a year, I missed the last one a couple a months ago. I gutted everything of practical value out of the machines before I dropped them off though, they got nothing from me but a hundred pounds or so of useless junk. :santa: Good riddance iMacs!

i always just put mine out with the garbage
they take care of the recycling :)
