wow, that's actually pretty slick looking. I mean, it beats the whole modular performance PC PSUs just because you can have no wires at all! I like :D I wonder how well it holds up though. And I wonder how easy it would be to dis-lodge one of those connectors.

Holy crap! that looks slick. i wonder how the lines are (above or below spec, hopefully above) and i wonder how stable they are. other than that and its price, i would buy it if i had the money!

Looks nice. The best thing about it, you can remove wires you dont need to use, so they arent all over the case.

That's kind of the selling point ;)

I've done similar things myself, and have seen it done several times; very very useful stuff, especially if you beef up the wire a little bit to carry more power. I can't wait to get a Fortron 530 and mod it :D

It is a very nice looking PSU. The real question is I wonder how well it performs? I mean all those nice plugs and special cables make it look really cool. But those things cost money and the power supply really isn't that expensive when compared to some other high end PSUs. My point is if they spent that much money on the outside on looks, that means they spent that much less on the inside making it work. I'm with Bald Shadow on this one and I will stick with PC Power & Cooling.

We all Thermaltake will do it first as they love to rip off stuff. :burn:

So true :p , this psu looks amazing! Someone finally used the ide uv cable stuff that looks friggin sweet! We just need more colours!

the concept is a great idea. Its like one of those doh why didnt I think of that things. It will be nice to see how well this model preforms and I look forward to the copy-cat brands that are sure to make appearances soon.

Exactly, if the design and the placement of cables or should I say, lack there of, is the focal point of selling the psu, then the gut of the unit along with the “actual” power output can only be sub-standard.

Someone purchase the psu and prove me wrong so I can purchase one as well. :D

Until then, pcpower&cooling all the way!

yes this look should be the new look for all PSUs...the current ones all look like they belong in a plain old ugle beige case from 95...and considering the PSUs from the plain old ugly beige cases in 95 havent changed much...

the PSU look needs an update we got all these killer looking cases with fugly *** PSUs time for a change :p

That looks awsome. No more bundles of cable coming out one hole. I agree that the price is a little to steep, especially since I just got my Antec. Cant wait till someone rips off the idea..

this is also being done @ acryan.com
I want to see cables come out the bottom of a PSU for once. might be bad in particular situations, but think of trouble you could save with airflow and rad placement if your wires partruded from the bottom side of your PSU, especially with these removable jobs....sure hope i win this acryan contest ;)
