That "waterblock" section looks like stuff we used to make in an aluminum extrusion plant I used to work at.

I don't have a direct link to this as it was taken out of some catalog. Just do a search for any medical equiptment cooling manufacturers, you will see that industry has come up with a lot of excellent solutions.

This one caught my eye because it is small, and could be used for a number of things. If you turned it into an evaporator you could possibly make a home made vapochill type system.
