A TNT2 Vanta may be the easiest to find, and they're cheap-ish. 16 Mb for ~$50, 8 Mb for ~$40.

Elsa has a great reputation for quality. But... the TNT2 M64 is definitely a better Vidcard than anything "Vanta." Vanta's perform like TNT's. M64's perform like TNT2's. I think that all major flavors of Linux support TNT2's of all persuasions. Go with the MSI card!
