OK, I'm poor and cheap, which means I'm only getting one crystal orb.

Now, I was thinking of putting it on my vid card and then using the stock vidcard GPU cooling fan on my northbridge, which only has the stock MSI heatsink on it.

It sure looks like it'll fit, so do you think this will work? From what I can tell GPU and northbridge coolers are the same size...

i got a blorb on my geforce that works nice and i think im going to pick up a crystal orb for my northbridge chip just to add a dazzle to it and cool it better allthough the northbridge chipset really doesnt need more cooling that the cheap heatsink they put on there mine is always cool even after hours of gaming

The holes dont always line up (they didnt on my board). Either use some type of thermal apoxy, or you can drill the mounting holes into something closer to slots so you have greater range of positioning and then mount it tightly with bolts and plastic nuts.

is it hard to take off the MSI stock hs? Can you just yank it off or is some type of tool required?
