homemade ORB waterblock Conversion

I tried converting a chome orb cooler Its a shoddy job but it works.
Have a look at the results and tell me what you think.


Results at 1Ghz with 80mm evercool and waterpump running

Idle = 28C
Full load = 39C

looks quite good, if you feel up to it then consider creting another block using a copper based one, this may help results. if there are any more chrome orbs lying around consider doing the same but do not put the base back into the heatsink, attach it to a GPU or motherboard chipset.

what do you plan to do to that tansiol?
 
I dont know where I could get a copper based heatsink without spending money. Also is there an copper ORB avaliable.

For the taisol I have taken some of the fins off and Im making a perspex box to go arround the remainding ones. Its nearly ready I just have to seal it now.
