clear cmos

when i clear my cmos does it just load the defaults of the same virson or does it go back to the default bios?

(8kha+) is the board am using but i dont think that matters

It goes back to the defaults that come from the program flashed onto the BIOS chip. All of the hardware detection, changes that you enter, (bus speed, boot order,time, date, etc) are saved in CMOS.
