After getting a copy of XP Pro and tweaking the nuts off it, I think everything's sorted- but I'm confused about the whole Messenger problem. Is this Messenger (the one that allows messaged at random) the same as "Windows Messenger" (A.k.A MSN Messenger) or is it a totaly different thing?

I opened the MSN Messenger looking thing, and clicked the Tools >> Options >> and disabled the "Run at startup" option so THATS disables till I want to run it, but just incase I missed something- could someone clarify for me?

On another line of thought- is there a version of WinPopUp (like Win M.E has) cos I want to send messages between my Millenium Edition rig to my XP rig. I tried WinPopUp in the command line but nothing happened.

So Messenger IS WinPopUp?

But if I want to turn it on again (and turn it off when I'm finished), what do I do? just type "run messenger" in the command line?

But with the problems it brings- would it be better to find a 3rd party version of WinPopUp (or just transfer a copy from my Win M.E machine to the XP one?)
