Client-core communications error: ERROR 0x1

Huh?

[email protected] client keeps erroring with this error.
If I don't open it, it does this in the log over and over and over.
If I open the display it crashes when the error happens (or around there).

Used to happen to me alot. Knocked me out of folding for a good 3 months due to bandwidth issues...

Try deleting the work folder. That usually solved the problem for me.

Well, after a while I got a tiny .6 pointer, so it solved for a few more hours.

If it keeps doing it I will just delete it all and reinstall.

9 times out of 10 deleting the work folder will fix this issue because it is because of a corrupt WU. IT you notice it happening over and over again, check to see if they are all coming from the same server, it could be that stanford has a bad batch on server and don't know it.
