Clockgen Won't work with SATA :0(

Ok I got my 2.4C up to 305MHz bus speed using clockgen. It's 100% stable in Prime 95. Unfortunatly Clockgen won't work with my SATA hard drive. I have a IBM 160GXP. I've tried above and below 66/33MHz. Everything makes the system lock, even 67/34MHz. Is SATA so dam sensitive? I'm using the Asus P4C800 Deluxe E. I would be a shame if I have to clock down my CPU back to 300MHz just because SATA won't work with clockgen. My IDE is no problem at all.

yes sata is very sensitive to overclocking

Well this stinks... I mean all I ask is 1MHz above spec. geez. And I'm stuck with this Hard drive. oh well..

It will work with the promise controller but not ICH5R. Ran into same problem.

Mine works fine! .. I don't even like clockgen, it gives me lower scores for some reason... I wouldn't recommend it, period!
