Well,

I had decided to go with air cooling alone and tending towards buying the Coolermaster Stacker.

Now, I'm very very seriously considering watercooling and although I know the CM Stacker would make a very nice W/C case, I wonder if it's the bets investment of my money now that 8+ fans aren't the most important thing...

Should I change the case, get some cheaper nice quality case and put an extra $80 on my watercooling gear instead ?

Thanks,

If you want a nice clean install for your watercooling system...And big case is a must have...In my humble opinion anyway.

The full tower Chieftech's make great water cooling case and can be had for cheap, cheap, cheap.

You could loosen up a hundred duckies for your water cooling stuff changing to the Chieftech.

Comes in a rainbow of colors...Built like a tank and have room to plumb everything without any radical bends that could restict waterflow through your system.

the lian-Li series are nice - check out some of thew WC threads here - some people have done nice WC set up's with them

Personally - i am buying a stacker for air - and i am SURE it has MORE then enough room to do a WC set up - i mean it has the room for 11 drive bays so that means you got lots of room to place pumps / resevoirs - everything!!

Also - the stacker has alot of "open" cooling - all of the front panels are open mesh and such - personally - i am madly in love (dont tell the g/f ;) with this stacker case and i can not wait till mine arrives - i even started a thread about it! yes my life is that empty..lol)

Anyways - as Hookem said - a nice big case will do - unless you consider the route of an "external" WC box - a route i was going to take - but did not have time - again - check out the WC forum area to see what some people have done to their cases and this will give you a good idea of if you need to get a new case or not :D
