Hi I have two computers connected by two LAN cards directly to each other, the one w/ modem is running IP: 192,168,0,1 and the seconds IP: 192,168,0,2 Mask on both is 255,255,255,0.

On the second comp the gateway and the DNS (?) are both set to

When I run Quake3Arena and start a game, the other computer always tried to connect to the internet first, and then it starts the game, I was wondering what should I do to make it stop, I don't want to remove/return the ICS all the time manually. Can you help.
I don't know much about LAN, I just know how to hook the comp up and make it work, nothing else. So please help
Every suggestion will be highly apriciated.

PS: LOL, I sound like a new member, don't I? :p

So where is the gateway? Nothing has an IP of so the packets have no idea how to get out of his little network.
