comp locks up after loading windows

first tell me if i post this in the right area ok

i turn on my computer and i get to win xp logon screen sometimes it locks up there and sometimes i can get past and it loads but when everything is loaded i click on start menu and it locks up on me i am using the rig on my sig please help me if you can if you need more specs let me know

Could be a cooling issue if your still using he Volcano with a 2.2 VCore.
