I recently purchased a CF card for my HP digital camera...it worked great untill I decided to put a music file on it, then tried to format it with the formatting tool in windows. now my camera doesnt recognise it..anyone know how to fix this?? or is it toast??

try to format it in the camera.

I did try that...but the camera doesnt even recognise that there is a CF card inthe camera

what fillling system did you format it with in windows fat32 ntfs ?.

I had the same prob. with my camera and I had to format it with fat32 before it would recognize it. (my camera was a kodak dx1900).. hope that works!!

the file system was the problem...my Hp 318 wanted it to formatted as FAT, instead I was formatting it as FAT32
