my compunurse says around 1-2C lower then my bios or any windows temp programs

its about 1/4in from the core

Generally the diodes under the CPU and on the board are less accurate than 'proper' kits.

I'd say you've succeeded in making the CompuNurse inacurate too, until you touch the side edge of the core with the probe, provided the probe is slim enough to Not interfere with the hsf's seating properly.

well i know that
am also from canada and dont know inches lol. its about a cm away from the core it was on top of the core a little at one point and once i seated the heatsink i moved it off a little so i dont think its touching the core but its close
