i got a new asus A7V266 mobo and my old case and the power button on the front of the case doesnt plug in anywhere would i be bale to buy a new case and it work???
 
What kind of power button is it? Does it connect to the PSU or the mobo? I'm kind of confused...more info would help.

on my old mobo it connected to the mobo on this one there is no place that is small enough to plug it into the case is an gateway select and the old mobo is an Jabil (Kadoka) AMD Motherboard here is my old one
 
I thought most manufacturers use proprietary motherboard designs. If it is proprietary, the connectors for the case (switches and LEDs) may be different too, but I don't know gateways are built.
