computer parts watt consumption?

Anyone have an estimate on how many watts each part in a computer consumes?

That can vary hugely based on whats in the system. A cpu can use anywhere from 35 to 150watts for example.

If you are wondering what psu you need, err on the side of too much.

hrmm... well for maybe some maxtor 60gb 7200 rpm drives then? I'm trying to figure out how much load i'm putting on my 2nd power supply. Won't be a problem since it's 250watts, but would just like to know.
