or RX6600XT if you have more space for multiple cards as it's ~32MH/s at 55W and costs about 50% of 3070 ... but non-LHR 3070 are nearly impossible to get nowadays so it's hard to find anything that will beat 6600XT efficiency

I just saw this while looking at a review for the card I bought.

TechPowerUp says that they got a max memory clock of 2300MHz while gaming. I thought almost all RX 6000 chips outside of some RX 6900 XT cards where locked down to 2150MHz. If this card can actually go above 2150MHz maybe it might be good for a little more then 32MH.

On Powercolor Hellhound I could set 2250MHz but I felt it's not fully stable so I left it at 2200MHz and then it could make 32-33MH/s, but yes, 2300MHz is the limit for the RX6600XT. It may change with drivers. Both my RX6800XT can't run at more than 2100MHz or the performance is going down randomly. RX6700XT runs without issues at 2150MHz. Weird is that I have nearly 2MH/s difference between RX6800XT. ASRock is mining ~63MH/s, Powercolor ~61MH/s. The same settings, the same PC, and ASRock is the main card so in theory, should be even slower.

My Power Color RX 6800 XT Red Devil mines at 2150MHz and does 64MH. My Saphire RX 6700 XT Nitro+ mines at 2150MH and gets 47MH. I wonder why the 6600 XT has a higher memory speed limit then the higher tiered cards.

IÂ’m curious to see what my Gigabyte RX 6900 XT Xtreme Waterforce will be able to mine at. It has a memory speed limit of 4000 if I recall. Maybe I can coax it up around 2300MHz.

My Saphire RX 6600 XT Pulse OC arrives today. But the riser and pcie cable for the power supply are a few more days out. I am going to pull my Saphire RX 580 8GB Pulse OC and that will give me 6 more MH until the rest of the parts arrive.

My first RTX3080 FTW3 (non-hybrid) may either be having issues or the power supply running the system (it's an older 1000w platinum Seasonic). It's also my plex server and just randomly reboots with loads on it, but it's otherwise a low wattage 2c/4t cpu so not much to push it. And I don't have a spare PSU with 3 8-in connectors, so getting a spare PSU to try out before RMAing the video card.
