I have an ATI all in Wonder 9800 Pro card. Those of you familiar with the card know that it has a TV out capability. Using that capability I went to Circuit City and bought a 5" LCD screen for portable use on a PlayStation. The sreen is made by Audiovox. IT has composite video and sound inputs as well as a plug thingie to convert AC to DC power and let it run. I plugged it in and then hooked the composite sound and video inputs from the ATI's TV out jacks and told windows to extend my desktop to this new TV monitor. PRESTO I have a new 5" LCD monitor on my desktop. Admittedly, graphics, particularly text, kind of sucks. but it is great for running Window's Media player in the back ground with the cool graphics enabled and does well at monitoring the weather channel and CNN for me as well as running MOBO monitor and ASUS probe to keep up with time, temps, news, etc. Plus, just having a 5" LCD monitor sitting on top of the Lian Li case just looks extremely cool. I recommend giving it a shot. :)

That's awesome, but if you want it to look really cool you gotta build it into your case and have it running some system specs / WMP visualizations while you're gaming. If you could do that I would give you mad props. Oh, can you post some pics of the current setup you have?

1> I'd love to have it a part of my case but I don't have room between my CD, DVD writer, Floppy & smart card reader (a very cool item from CompUSA, My Aerogate II temp/fan monitor and controller and the 3 1/2 external bays I use for air intake and cooling.

2> I'd be glad to post or send photos of my rig. I just don't have a place to host them for posting here. e-mail can be done if you wish though.

3. BTW - watching the news while I play HALO is cool. :)
