Well for my 1337'th post I thought i'd post this idea I thought of yesterday...
My mom was in and she was looking at both of my monitors. She thought it was amazing that I could drag windows between the "computers"
But anyways I said if I had monitors all around me I could spin a window all the way around... that gave me an idea.
What if someone was to make a medium sized circle desk, that you could sit in the center of? Then, you could have LCD's all around you. Then for your keyboard/mouse, you could use a tray type of thing we have now, but mount it to a track under the desk so the whole wireless keyboard/mouse setup could spin around.
Then you just add 1 back section of the desk that can raise up so you can get out... add a good office chair... and a computer supporting a ton of monitors... and you got a heck of a workstation. Could be working on a webpage, turn around and be downloading some files. If you felt like it, you could turn off all of the lights and start up some matrix code screensaver or something... or if you happen to make screensavers you could make cars on the screen race around in a circle
If I had the space/money/and a shop I would love to do it
BTW don't forget the 7.1 surround sound and EL wire that borders the desk.
