I never had a problem with the 11.00 drivers for my Geforce2GTS and GTU/coolbits, until I replaced my MB with an AsusA7M266. When I reboot after making a change to the Geforce Tweak Utility, my monitor is all distorted with funky colors and patterns. I have to go into safe mode and install the 10.80 drivers, then I can make a change to the GTU, reboot and all is functioning well. Also, I know the 12.41 drivers do not support coolbits, but when I try to use the .exe installation program, reboot, I get the same distorted screen as with the 11.00 drivers, but without having made any changes to the GTU. Since the 12.41 drivers are a self installing file, is there still a need to first remove the previous drivers, then run the .exe program?? Or will the 12.41 drivers simply overwrite the (ex. 10.80) drivers?? Is anyone else having difficulty using GTU/Coolbits with the 11.00 drivers??
Thank you....

I found that the 11.xx drivers all suck. I stayed with 10.80 drivers until the 12.40 ones were released. I just got done installing the 12.60 detonator drivers and they give the best performance with 3Dmark2000 of any I've tried now. I've just finished posting my best benchmark scores ever. We'll need to use DirectX8 though.

I just tried the 12.60 drivers as well with 3DMark2001. I got a 206 point gain over the 10.80 drivers (4303 now 4509)
I lost 296 points though in 3DMark2000 (9075 now 8779) 600x800 16 bit /1.2 Ghz/266
So, I'm not sure how UT, CS or Q3 perform with the latest driver. Ican't get my timedemo functions to work
:( CAn anyone give me an idea which version drivers perform best with these games?
