anyway is this a good heatsink and fan?

im using it on a 2500+

Thanks, Ryan

It's a heatsink with an outstanding price performance ratio!!! ;)

I just bought one for me as long as I have to wait for the parts for my Swiftechs and my new Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu.

I got it today, gave it a good lapping (really needed) and will try it out on my new CPUs (XP 1800+ JIUHB DLT3C 0321 XPMW and XP 2000+ AIUHB DUT3C 0322 RPDW) soon this afternoon.

It should be a really good performer at the high RPM ratings of the fan, so let's say from 3000-4800 RPM. Any lower and the performance will only be midrange.

But all in all, it's unbeatable for 10,90 EUR including shipping(around ~12$).

So if you're looking for a cheap good performing heatsink/fan combo with adjustable fan, all I can say is:

GO FOR IT!:D

The fan is a bit noisy, if you can get Xdream SE it's better, pure copper. Also i had problems with the mounting clip, because my case is a bit small and when i put the PSU i can't screw it. So i repleaced the clip with the one which came with the box cooler with the cpu

I've had that HSF for about 6 months now. It's been working just fine for me and the price was right. I have the fan at the lowest speed to keep the noise down and backed my overclock off a bit ([email protected] V) to keep the temps in line.

I'm planning on picking up an NF7-S and Barton 2500+ next week (passing my current CPU/MB to my kids). I'll likely spring for a Thermalright SK-7 (around $20), but I'm curious to see how the retail HSF does first.
