cooling my vid card: K6-2 hsf

Would that work? I would drill out the holes in the hs and mout it like the one on there right now. just an idea. if not that, then my old athlon hsf? would that be too bulky?

I've got an old k6-2 heatsink with a 7200rpm fan running at 5V on my GF3 TI200. It's very quiet and only takes up 2 pci slots. I don't know how much heat a G4 MX420 generates, but if it is more than a GF3 TI200 you will probably need a more powerful fan.

Sweet, the stock hs doesn't even really get that warm, so i think it would work. Just wanted to know if it has been tried before. Thanx.

yeah, i glued (using superglue in the corners and ASII as paste) an old PIII hs to my Geforce2 Pro....i had no problems
