cooling the clock gen/voltage regulator

I ordered a small heatsink for my clock generator on my asus cusl2-c. i have a pIII 700mhz. I am going to see if this helps my o/c. Has anyone heard a lot about this? Also, does it help to cool the voltage regulator?

Ive heard of some people doing it but not getting major gains, but it certainly couldnt hurt....I was thinking about doing this myself cause my apartment is a bit warm in the summer.

I know that certain clock gens do get very hot and others don't get hot at all
