Would this allow better performance? (closer to full copper wblocks)
Because I can have a radiator and a wb made of aluminium only for free and if a simple copper plate can help, why not?
any clue?
Maybe I could make the copper plate integrated a la Alpha.
I've heard people saying copper has better capacity but Aluminium is better to take the heat away so I thought it could be a good idea thus saving me money and giving good performance).

All copper is the BEST way to go. All copper waterblock, and an all copper radiator. That is what I use from DangerDen and look at my sig for my temps. Can't really get that with aluminum unless your house is an igloo or you use a pelt.

I know that, I'm just thinking about a compromise, I don't have to spend any bucks for aluminium solutions... if I want copper, I need to buy a complete kit...

Considering the cost differential. Free vs. Everything else.

You'll be fine with an Al block + Cu Plate.

If you use a big enough (or very efficient) aluminum radiator your temps will be quite sufficient.

That's what I wanted to read : )
size will be about maze2 Dden's copperblock (I'll try to attach it to the four holes).
Maybe a CuSil plate?
How thick should the plate (copper or CuSil) be?
