Ok, i must be a noob or over looking something. Ive looked though the manual sevral times and searched on line.Corsair didn't label the modular connections on the PSU itself, and they didn't put a diagram in the manual and i DONT want to connect the wrong cables to the incorrect devices.

Can someone please help and show me which cables go where?

Never mind.. found a guide here

How to Install 24pin and 8pin cables on Your Professional Series Gold PSU

  1. Boxed in Yellow: 24 Pin connector (both connectors will need to be plugged)
  2. Boxed in Blue: Peripherals and SATA cables
  3. Boxed in Green: EPS connector and PCI E connector

As an additional side note, you can't plug it into the wrong one.

Additional sidenote to the additional sidenote: If it doesn't want to go in, don't force it. Burlyness can convince a connector to go in the wrong spot, this generally lets the magic smoke out.

I thought i got one of the connections to fit where it shouldnt go, but i didnt try to fully plug it in.

On a side note, reguardless if its made to not fit or not, having a blanks non-labeled set of connections is a bit disconcerting.

I'm surprised there aren't labels, makes me wonder if it was a factory defect or something.

whats even stranger, is that the CPU power and Mobo power connections are on different rows. Tho this ended up working to my advantage because it put the CPU connection *just* close enough that i could plug it in directly without using the extension.
