I'm like SUPER confused.
I just bought a Corsair VS550 off of ebay... but it's the older version that comes with 4 molex connectors and 4 SATA connectors instead of 7 SATA and 2 molex. That's not the problem though... the PROBLEM is that the seller also included a bunch of male-to-male adapters for some odd reason. I mean this is NOT a modular power supply. And obviously I can't connect a male PCI-E cable to ANOTHER male PCI-E cable for the additional three sata connectors.
So what gives? I mean I know I can probably just unplug the wires in the back from the molex connectors and just plug them into the sata connectors and make sure the colors match... but does this guy somehow know something I don't?
