I have a coolermaster HTCP case that restricts me to a micro ATX form, love the looks of it in my entertainment rack but it's hard to cool. My 2500 barton not o/c and at stock voltages run at 49-53 c with a Zillman flower cooler on high. When I remove the top of the case temps drop to about 42-45. Noise is a big concern so lets look at h2o. Can anyone give me some feedback on the Hydro cool 200 ref. the noise, and from what I've looked at as far as the instalation, it looks like it won't take up alot of room in the case ? Can anyone suggest any other (outside of the case) H2O kit that that might be a better, the corsair seems to be on of the most expensive kits adn I dont mind the cost, I just don't want to by junk. This 2500 is begging to be o/c but I need the coolin fist.
Any other suggestions for a new-to-H20 guy ?
Thanks

The HydroCool is a great 'Kit' and certainly the best external setup.

They are pretty good and for what you are looking for they are a perfect fit.

If noise is a big concern, I suggest looking else where. The HydroCool is pretty noisy.
Only on high speed setting for the fans... And if you wanted you could always swap a steal or panaflo low in.

Right now I am running 5 80 mm plus the zillman 90 mm on the flower cooler, all at full speed. the Corsair woud be running ontop of a rack in a closet . Do you think I would get any noise reduction by going to the Corsair Hydro cool ?

Read my other message. Corsair now has a newer model called the EX that is quieter.... they say it is anyway. I will install over the weekend and let you people know. I however can not compare to the older model.

I've made some major changes in my system, the Hydrocool is great, and the noise is not a problem, it is located in a closet behind my entertainment rack, and you can't hear it. New board, Abit NF7-S v2.0, 2 WD80's Sata Raid-0, a new AMD 2500, pre week 35 unlocked YYYYEEESSSS !, new case D-Vine4 (1 60 mm fan) and added a Swiftec H20 block and tweekmonster ram sincs to the AIW 9800 PRO, they went on in about 15 min thanks to everyone on the forum. My kids X-Box is 10 times louder than this pc. So far I've gotten 11X210 CPU 1.7, and 2.7 for the ram all at 35C idel, 41C on a hard game load, with p-95, ahd sandra burn the highest I saw was 44C, and I haven't put mutch time into the o/c, I have a good feeling it will go higher! I have been working on a video-sound sync problem with the AIW9800 PRO (me and 10,000 other people), but THANKS to all the people here in the O/C Fourm the rest of my system SCREAMS.

Sure, here you go..
