I just got an 8rda and it seems to have problems with my samsung 2700 if i try to even run it at 166 ( i had it running at 192 on my a7v8x). Anyway, i am about to order some new ram and i don't know if i should get Corsair Value Select 2700 or Kingston Value Ram 2700.
thx

I'm looking for RAM myself. Based on reviews I am going with Corsair Value 2700.

I've been reading a lot about the XMS and HyperX series and debating if I should save up for that instead. Any thoughts on that?

I am definitely on a budget. I've been debating would I rather get 512 PC2700 vs 256 of XMS or similar.

Not set in stone, but trying to stay around $60. I'm building a new system and its more of an overall budget.

I have an 8rda so i wonder if i should get 2 256 instead of a 512... anyway i don't have my own credit card and my parents will be ****ed i think if i get something real expensive because i said i was going to spend around 30$ and it's already going to be at least 62$.. my local stores charge twice the newegg price for ram so that's out of the question.

does sound like you are in a bind. i'm just going to end up buying what i can afford. maybe you can do the same and plan an upgrade later when you have your own credit card.

Ok, i am totally confused.
2 256 sticks of Kingston VR 2700 66$, 2 sticks of Corsair Value 2700 56$, 1 512 stick of Kingston HyperX 2700 75.50$, or 1 512 stick of Corsair 3200 Value 79$.
I don't know what to get for my 8rda..
