Okay, say you o/ced your comp from 450 to 556
when i o/ced to 556, my mobo's bios says the temp for the mobo is 29C just like when it was 450
it says n/a for the cpu.
if the mobo's temp is okay, does that mean the cpu's temp is just as okay?btw, it's a p3 and an asus p2b

Just because the motherboard temp is good DOES NOT mean the CPU temp is good. A CPU heats up very quickly (matter of seconds) and can burn up in the blink of an eye. Mount a thermal probe touching the CPU and you'll always know what the temps are. Hoot did an article on this a couple of weeks ago. If you post to him requesting the article he'll e-mail it to ya.
