I have a great idea for a case mod. I won large cow at a local amusement park, and it is the perfect size for a case, about 18" by 12" by8". i would like to take all the cotton out and use some kind of wiring to bring it back to it's original shape. I could use parts from an old case for the bays. I would like to also have it set up so all the bays face the bottom. Any feedback appriciated.

sounds like a great idea! What do you mean "so the bays face the bottom"? You mean the cd-rom would open to the ground? Anyways great idea.

As far as making it keep its original shape I would say you should put the stuffing back in then epoxi the fabric of the cow and let it dry stiff. Then you can take out the stuffing and it should be as hard as a rock. Thats how they make carbon fiber (I think.) Can you get a pic of the cow? I wanna see it so I can think of some other ideas for you.

Now you got me thinking! I have a 3 foot tall Tazmanian Devil.:p

heh I have that same taz thingy and I was thinking the same thing! I won it at a carnival a few years back.

Sorry, I don't have a digital camera. However, a friend of mine has one and I could probably borrow it and take a few pictures of it. I got carried away with it last night and stayed up until 3 AM working on it. I wish I would have heard the epoxi idea before I got carried away. If I get pics they will be posted here. Thanks for your suggestions.
