I will be upgrading from my old AMD 4200x2 (am2) Quad core seems to be the new thing and will get a QC for some BFBC2 :) Anyway here is what I'm upgrading to

And here is the ram I bought not too long ago and wonder if this will work.

I ask because a review said it's picky about ram, and also I went to the ASUS website and could not find a memory support list. Only found a CPU list.

Oh and I have a BFG 7600gt as of now, will I see a gain of FPS with this new chip in say... BF2? That game I get around 40fps maxed out with filters on. I will be upgrading to a 5850 or some Nvidia card around summer time. :) Thanks!

These are your new board's specs for the ram:

Memory Standard- DDR2 1200(O.C.)/1066/800/667/533

And these are your ram's specs:

Speed- DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

The only thing I may see a problem with is the ram's minimum voltage requirements which is 1.8V - 1.9V. If you get the new board to boot into the bios, you'll have to manually set the ram's voltage to 1.8v/1.9v for it to boot and run.

As for the video card, you may not see an improvement over your current setup.
