What is a better way to go....

1. change the mutiplier to 9.5 and 140 frequency = 1330 mhz


or


2. change the multiplier to 10.5 and 133 frequency = 1330 mhz



myself i have had better luck with 1 but does anyone really
know?

I always go with a lower multiplier and higher FSB....The FSB OC's everything opposed to the multiplier just OCing the CPU....I also notice a big diference in benchmark scores with the higher FSB...

Going for pure speed................go with the 9.5x140FSB............that way you are running everthing cpu,ram,and video at a higher speed. youe should be getting better performance out of that

The lower multi in conjunction with the elevated fsb will yield better overall performance but if you want raw processor performance(folding, seti etc.) the higher multi and default fsb will process more wu's more quickly.

just make sure when highing the fsb or the multplier to up the voltage also to make it stable.. I go with the higher fsb and a cas of 2 ... cas level matters just as much as the fsb or muitplier cuz a hole cycle is a big difference when crunching..

Now if you were going from 100mhz FSB to a higher one. You'd notice a MAJOR MAJOR difference. The higher FSB smoothed everthing out. I couldn't believe the difference. It's what computers SHOULD BE! Smooth.

But alas, PC makers can't get it right.

So, I would have to say go with the FSB. You'll enjoy the way it will feel. If you can't do it that way. A higher Multiplier is nice too.
The programs won't flow quite as smoooooth though. You'll still see a performance gain, but it will be a bit different.

I agree with you 100 fsb is no ware near 133. and also a higher fsb will give you a fast program load because everthing is running faster with the fsb raised with the multpiler its just the cpu that goes up.. If I were you i raise the fsb as high as possible then work on the muitplier.. that way you will get the best overclock possilble.. but remember try to keep the cas lever at 2 because if you move it to 3 well that is just as bad as lowering the fsb.. save your clock cycles...

nice spec why not try a multplier of 13 and go for 133 or higher..
