cpu socket layout and measurements

im going to be designing some blocks in cad and i dont have the proper measuring tools. does anyone have or know where i can get a detailed drawing or file that has all the socket a measurements the layout of the 4 block mounting holes on amd MB's. obviously x,y,z would be needed. any help is appriciated.

Materials:

measuring tape
motherboard

Extend tape from 1 mobo hole to the next, and record length - repeat for each hole if they do not appear to be the same lenth.

yep its 36mmx66mm or 1.42x2.6inches i have a cad file of the socket laying around here that cooler-engineer made a while back, it has a cpu in it, all measured exact

Here, this is up to scale, if you print it out, the holes are exactly right (hopefully aprogram didn't warp it first)

yea, but mines up to scale. I had that one too, but with mine you could print out and put on whatever your cuutting...

but then again mine dosn't have the other holes

Needed them to model mobo in CAD. Also found dims for XP chip on website, just for realism.

are those measurements to the center of the holes? or the edge? also how big are the holes?

hmm now i finally get to look at my MB and i have a socket 462 so none of those help anyway..

its from center to center, i measured the NB for someone, i think it was you neomoses, 2 5/16inches from center to center of the holes
