CPU Speed

Hello,

I bought a I7 2700k system recently, it was meant to be clocked @4GHZ and sure enough when I go to windows performance it says I7 @4GHZ, however when I look at CPU-Z it says @3.5Ghz, how to determine what my CPU is actually?

Put a load on it and see if the multiplier jumps up to 40x = 4Ghz.

Ha, I put him under Prime and it goes up to 4GHz, thank you.
