I'm thinking of a crazy thing... What if I set the FSB at 133, lower the multiplier so the CPU freq is still around 700, and then, step by step, increase the multiplier till it hangs up?
What do you thonk, it will work?

A. the chipset on your board won't support that much FSB B. even if it worked the multiplier for the PCI/AGP etc would step down and you wouldnt gain as much as you might think...You could do this with a KT133A board when they're available

you know meatbag, maby your posts should make a little sence and stop spamming.....

lol, altho this thread is very old isn't this thread highjacking? ;)
Well... he got what he deserved, we'll see if he starts spamming again or not, maybe he just wanted to see what is it there in the Classifieds :p

Your theory would pro'lly work, but for a few exceptions:

1) Is your Motherboard an A7V or an A7V133? If it's an A7V133, it'll work, if it's just a plain 'ol A7V, it won't. Different chipset, believe it or not, and the one on the A7V is only capable of about 110 FSB before it craps out.

2) Your processor might not like the higher FSB, and neither might your cards or RAM. FSB affects all of those aspects.
