Is that your copy uploaded or someone else's upload? Just curious about security.

I would also be interested in the v0.3.1 beta-2-dev if someone has that too.
 
can you install this on way older machines i have one that does not allow the newest ubuntu because of PAC i believe that is what is called
 
I haven't tried anything older, so I couldn't say. Please let us know if you try it out.

Ah yes, this is a 64 bit OS. What hardware are you trying to use?
 
No new development with this o/s. i suspect it is dead and will not be developed any further. It is too bad, it has been a very stable and reliable o/s for me. I have had one rig running scrypt on waffles for 3 weeks. It has not had any issues since I started it then.

I was planning to move my rigs to a more remote location today, but I am trying to decide whether to leave the one on cryptoslax or change to pimp o/s. There has not been any updates for a while and I suspect it is not secure due to heartbleed, but I am not sure. Watch for a Pimp os walkthrough if I decide it is worthwhile.

could you not:

sudo apt-get update
then
sudo apt-get install openssl?

IIRC that would get the newest build of openssl.
