CS:S Death Match Help

Ok I just recently bought a HL2 bundle and CS:S was one of the games included. I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me how to get guns in the deathmatch servers. I searched on google and here to no avail. I also ask in ther server but noone helps. I really like it but it would be fun to use something besides the pistol or w/e the default weapon is (if there is one enabled).

In many servers, a certain button will trigger a menu which will allow you to press numbers to choose pistol, than main weap, and occasionaly grenades

I would try typing "help" or asking an admin on the server

in the keyboard configuration, set the buy menu to whatever you like. i've got it set to "v". usually in deathmatch servers you get $16k starting money, so you can buy whatever you like.

When u join a server a menu should come up if not type guns and if it is still not there put cl_restrict_server_commands 0 in console and rejoin the server. That should fix your problem.
