The CUSL2 does not have RAID capability. ATA100 deals with transfer speed only. RAID=Redundant Array of Independent Disks. All disks on the array are treated (and seen by the OS) as a single disk. Data is written to all disks simultaneously (in RAID 0 configuration) with each physical disk holding part of the file. This is called "striping".
