cut off fan grills on my case

my system returns to idle alot faster and what was once a moderately loud system is not fairly quiet....all i used was wire cutters and then rounded all the sharp edges with a dremel....it is so much quieter

yup, removing the fan grills is something everyone should do! besides the extra airflow and less noise, it keeps your fans alive longer! see my sig for a link to an older thread about it

The back of my case already has them cut and just has a wire grille around it, i dont know if i should remove the front filter piece...
