Hello,

I can not answer your question but wanted feedback on your mobo, what chip are you running on it. How do you like the mobo, is it easy to make changes in the bios ie) agp divider(once you find out) voltage and buss changes as well as ram timing changes.

I have a BE6-II but it may be cooked and I use a PIII 700 slot one with an Iwill slotket that I ran at 875

your help is appreciated

Good board, very overclockable'lotsa little tweaks in the bios,I like it!
Check my sig for the details!

In BIOS, Advanced > Chip Configuration you can set AGP Capability (2X, 4X) and Graphics Window Size (4Nb, 8Mb, etc.)

The CUV4X is a good board for overclocking but there seems to a limitation regarding core voltage. Someone reported that the CUV4X always boots at default vcore and then changes to whatever is set in BIOS. I don't know if this is correct but there is something odd. I can boot 927MHzs at default (1.7v) but not 945MHz. If I boot at 927, enter BIOS, change to 945 and 1.9v, then the next boot is okay. I'm up and running Windows NT stable at 945MHz. But if I now reboot, the machine will not post. I have to restart again at default settings (600MHz).

Also the CUV4X has dip switches for bus clock and multiplier but nothing for vcore (BIOS settings only).

i dont know how to answer your question either...
but i want to buy this motherboard, or the msi 6309,
i need voltage 2.1 for my celeron, could you please tell me if i can change the core voltage up to 2.1? thx man

Well depending on what chip you put in it, 2.1v may be an option in the BIOS. However there is a problem as I described with the boot up voltage. If you need 2.1v to boot at a certain speed then it may be no-go with the CUV4X. The CUV4X is a nice board but for serious overclocking I look elsewhere.

[Later] Just noticed youmention Celeron. I have a Celeron 600 in my CUV4X and the max voltage available in BIOS is 1.9v.
