well, I just have not been have the luck of the irish L8Ly. :(
2 bios chip 3 dead mobos, had to reformat the laptop.....

so much fun.

Anyway. I flashed to D24 & now ANY of my NIC's don't work.
yup- NONE.

Oh but they are just fine. nothing wrong with them.
-it's the BIOS that's fragged.

D24 was suppost to fix that according to Abit.
hehehe yeah, right. -hi, I'm from the govmt, I'm here to help. :bang head

I do believe that the bios chip for the NF-7 & NF-7S are the same.

Mine is an NF-7 ver2.

The help I need is to know what BIOS are you running with no probs?

I have 2 dead chips & going to have them reprogramed.
but I need a good BIOS to have flashed on them.

I'm really starting to hate Abit.

I did try to reflash to d23 but it was giving me an error
when i would try to either save or even not save the old bios.
-source file not found. ??? P.O.S.

Any help would be appreciated.
i reall don't want to make this mobo a frisbee.
