Well I am building a system for a friend. We are going to be getting a prescott with the abit IC7-Max3. Should I go for a D-Tek water block? I was looking at the "Spir@l Waterblock (AMD, P-4)" and it looks pretty good. What do you guys think?

but the spir@l performs ok too? Ya I know that the white water rockzors and I might choose it but I'm also considering prices. But the white water isn't that much more expensive.....well then White water is most deffinetly a possiblity.

if your cooling a p4 with the ihs then maze4 if cooling with out then rbx b/c rbx is angled twards the amd market b/c the size of the contact die and not the huge intel ihs

yeah the intel heatspreader may hinder somewhat, but the whitewater was designed with both the ihs and the AMD die in mind i believe. the whitewater and the rbx are both excellent choices, but some (including myself) still feel the rbx has to prove itself like the whitewater has.

Just remember if you get the WhiteWater look at the base and check the barbs. When I got mine last week I had to lap it and one of the barbs darn near fell out and the other two needed to be tighten as well.

Well both companys have defects , its not like were paying 100+ for a cascade or somthing, when i first orded my rbx dangerden sent it without accelarator plate, or gasket, good thing i leaktested and there y's are CHEAP!!!!!

I actually have the maze3, I like it but I figure I might try another wb for my friend here. I think I might do the white water.
